The NEV Development System is the engineering software of the platform, where the axes and kinematics, the PLC program, the fieldbus and the operator screens are configured and programmed in one project. Programs are written to IEC 61131-3, third edition, with its object-oriented extensions, and compiled to native code.

Runtime

The real-time controller: PLC, motion, CNC and EtherCAT.

The NEV Runtime is the real-time environment on the target PC, where the project produced by the Development System is loaded and executed. The PLC program, motion control, the CNC channel and the EtherCAT cycle run as real-time tasks, each with its own cycle time, a fixed priority and the cores you assign to it.
